Version 0.9 - The Final Pieces

A Longer Explanation

Saving has been added! Just press select when you are not in a dialogue box or cutscene.

Due to the screechy sound for the online version, musix and sound effects are now off by default. The can be turned on in the Sound Options on the main menu. The music has also had the volume lowered. Several sound effects have been tweaked, and I am finishing up a few more for the final release of the game.

I created a cartridge image (thanks to BLUEamnesiac for the template) to better convey the retro aesthetic of the game.

Several minor bugs have been fixed, notably the number of sticks now displays correctly. Let me know if you see any other bugs.

Several dialogue lines have been improved to make them clearer or more character appropriate. Several spelling mistakes have been corrected, but again, let me know if you see one.

The ejaculate outside animation has been cleaned up and a new one added for Mary.

Several cutscenes now trigger automatically when you near a fairy, instead of needed to talk directly to her. Other times the fairy will respond to you being around. This includes Rosetta, Iridessa, Mary, Beck, Queen Clarion, and Zarina.

Many cutscenes have had minor improvements and fixes. Sometimes an actor just faced the wrong direction or an emote popped up above the wrong character's head.

Several physical doors were added where previously only triggers stopped you. Makes it more realistic, since you don't walk inside a door, and then go "Oh, it's locked!"

Periwinkle's quest no longer requires you to talk to her between each animal. Also, you need to return to her (any direction) rather than her showing up at the animal's den.

Four NPCs were added to the Central Tree. They play no important part in the game, but give some life to what should be the busiest place in the Hollow.

Environmental triggers were added to bring life to the Hollow: the sound of the stream, a desire to go swimming, the smell of Dulcie's bakery.

Finally, a secret voyeur scene has been added. Take a look around and see if you can find it.

What's Left?

Not much is left before I consider the game complete. Obviously, once more through to check spelling and hunt for bugs. Let me know if you see any of those.

Otherwise, a few sound effects need to be added. One or two more filler NPCs are on the docket. And that's all that's planned.
